Management Accountant

The Business

The Hydrainer Group is made up of 2 core trading businesses and 2 group management companies with the principal activities being Pump Hire and Pump manufacturing (see www.hydrainer.com).

The group has been trading for over 40 years and is profitable with good cash flow generation.

It is based in Killamarsh (near Sheffield) with currently 10 depots.

The business has recently reorganised a number of roles in anticipation of growth and this role will help support that growth goal. We are in the process of migrating to a Sage 200 environment.

The Role

We are looking for a financial analyst to be responsible for the following:

  • Support with monthly management accounts, including an analysis pack
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly KPI’s
  • Management of cash flow projections
  • Management of fixed asset register (our core asset)
  • Ad hoc business case preparation
  • Business improvement projects

The role will be full time and based in the company’s head office in Killamarsh and report directly to the CFO.

The Candidate

The candidate will be a qualified/part-qualified accountant with some years of experience. Excel is essential. The person will show initiative and demonstrate a constant need for improvement. Communication skills are also essential.

National Product Support Specialist – Electric Submersible Pumps

Responsible to the Managing Director, Hydrainer Pump Hire Ltd.

The ideal candidate will come from a pump industry background and be fully conversant with the Xylem range of electric submersible pumps and associated control systems or similar.

A National role, you will work closely with the Northern and Southern Regional Managers and will focus on expanding the Company’s customer data base, and utilisation of the Hydrainer Fleet of electric submersible pumps.

A revenue and target driven role, you will be expected to set and meet budgets, advise on fleet requirements and liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure fleet and ancillaries are moved and located in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Depot / Sales Manager – Edinburgh

Hydrainer Pump Hire Ltd is looking for a pump hire professional to manage our Edinburgh Depot.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in field sales and hire within the construction and water infrastructure industry.

Your prime responsibility will be for the revenue generation from the hire of hydraulic and electric submersible pumps as well as supporting the field sales team in the area.

You will need to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and managerial skills.

Product knowledge preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Diesel / Service fitter – Bridgend, Wokingham & Romford

Hydrainer Pump Hire Ltd is looking for an experienced contractors plant fitter at our Bridgend, Wokingham and Romford depots.

A working knowledge of diesel engines is essential. The position includes site servicing, repairs and setting up (including deliveries and collections) as well as shop based work.

Time served preferred but suitable job experience would be considered.

Driving licence essential, overalls & personal safety equipment will be supplied.

Diesel fitter at our Manufacturing premises, Sheffield

We are looking for an experienced contractors plant fitter with good working knowledge of diesel engines at our Killamarsh, Sheffield premises.

Knowledge of hydraulics would be advantageous. The position includes repairing and setting up as well as shop-based work.

Time served preferred, but suitable job experience would be considered. Driving licence essential.

This is a permanent & full time position with good conditions & good rates of pay.   All PPE & overalls will be supplied.

HGV Driver at our Romford, East London depot

We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver Class 2 with Hiab at our Romford, East London depot.

Good rates of pay with some overtime available.

Must be CPC qualified and have Hiab licence.

Duties will include loading & unloading, delivery, collections and some on-site setting up of portable pump equipment. Other yard duties may also be required.

We are looking for a self-motivated person with good customer and organisational skills.
